Five Star Staff organize Newcomer Tea community event
Staff from Thornton Elementary and Thornton Middle School worked together to organize and host their quarterly Newcomer Tea.
On May 1, families mingled and learned about end of the year events, fifth grade transition to middle school, the summer PEAK program, and support for families in our community. To support our Newcomer families, the event had interpreters for five different languages.
The event was made possible thanks to the hard work of the following people:
