6th Grade Orientation

Hello Thornton Middle 6th Grade Families!

We hope you're enjoying a fantastic summer! We’re so excited to welcome your student to middle school on Monday August 11th for their 6th Grade Orientation from 8:40–11:50 AM.

It’s completely normal to feel both excited and a little nervous—this special half day is designed to ease that transition. Students will attend a welcome assembly, learn how to use their lockers, follow their schedules, explore the campus, and get to know our expectations. We’ll wrap up with a high-energy Huddle Up Assembly!

School supplies can be dropped off this day as well.  Here is the link to our school supply list.

Important Notes:

• If you're dropping off your student, please use the lower parking lot entrance—not the main entrance.
• Buses are running for pick up and drop off on August 11th.  
• Breakfast and Lunch will NOT be provided/available.  

Our staff can’t wait to meet your student and help them feel confident and ready. It’s going to be a fun and memorable morning!
