7th Grade Healthy Choices Parent/Guardian Information Night

Parents and guardians are invited to attend an important upcoming information night to learn more about a physical and emotional health curriculum that seventh-grade students will participate in during the months of November and December.

During this curriculum, students will learn about:

• Consequences of drug and alcohol use on the body, brain, and interpersonal relationships. 

• Internal and external factors that influence sexual decision-making and activity

• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and how to prevent their spread

In an effort to keep families informed of the potentially sensitive material that will be taught during this unit, parents and guardians are invited to learn more about this unit and preview the lessons during a Parent Information Night on Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. The event is intended for parents or guardians only.
