I have been with the International School at Thornton Middle since the fall of 2011. I teach seventh grade life science and currently serve as the instructional leader of the science department. In 2008 I received my bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with an emphasis in secondary education from the University of Northern Colorado and in 2011 I completed my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in urban education from the University of Denver. This year I will be joined by Amanda Conner as she works to complete her Boettcher Teacher Residency. I love teaching at The International School, and I look forward to a new year full of exciting possibilities.
